UAE Rolls Out Sovereign Mobility Cloud to spur Autonomous Transport

One Visionary Leap into The Next Mo-bility.

The United Arab Emirates has made significant gains in transport innovation by the introduction of its first Sovereign Mobility Cloud in the Dubai World Congress of Self-Driving Transport that took place in 2025. The platform is built based on the Sovereign Public Cloud developed on Core42, run on Microsoft Azure, this way all data created on autonomous mobility solutions are geographically hosted on the territory of the UAE and are subject to local legislation.

The introduction of the first set of electric heavy trucks at the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA), in India, is considered to be a historic moment in sustainable transportation. India has made a big move towards ensuring its rapidly expanding digital economy through combating the increasing number of cybercrime and financial fraud involving use of telecom resources. Recently the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) and the Financial Intelligence Unit-India (FIU-IND) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance the intelligence exchange and coordination. The collaboration is geared towards developing a strong system of fraud detection and prevention, particularly on the provision of digital payments.
