TRAI Certifies agencies to property digital connectivity rating

Digital Connectivity Rating Regulations, 2024 Digital connectivity Digital Networks Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has designated eight firms as Digital connectivity Rating Agencies (DCRAs) under the Rating of Properties for Digital Connectivity Regulations, 2024. Their registration expires after five years on August 27, 2025. Such agencies will evaluate the properties of digital infrastructure and give them star ratings to guide buyers, tenants, and developers.

Uttarakhand Netala Bypass Forest Clearance Row

Approval has been given by the Uttarakhand forest department on the proposal of the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) to build the Netala bypass of the Char Dham project. The acceptance allows exploitation of 17.5 hectares of forest cover in the sensitive eco-Bhagirathi area, prompting environmentalists and local people to protest against the move on the basis of environmental and legal breach.

Delhi Heat Crisis-Temperatures Are on the Rise and Immediate Action is needed

Delhi is experiencing unbearable water stress of heat, as 2025 was the hottest month of February and March ever. The temperatures have soared well past 45degC on many occasions during summers, resulting in India Meteorological Department having to declare heatwave warnings on several occasions. A ten-year plan (2015-2024) indicates that summer temperatures are always above normal, which puts a strain on health, livelihoods, and the environment.
