India Becomes Bangladesh Second-Largest Trading Partner

Life Found in Darkness: Microbes Thrive Under Antarctica’s Ross Ice Shelf

A follow‑up study in 2024 described a working microbial community in the seawater under the ice. This discovery shows that life can survive in extreme places.

N.S.K. Umesh Appointed Additional Secretary and OSD to Kerala CM

N.S.K. Umesh, an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the 2015 Kerala cadre, has been appointed as Additional Secretary and Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Chief Minister of Kerala. France Invites PM Modi to 52nd G7 Summit in June 2026

French President Emmanuel Macron has invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the 52nd G7 Summit. France will preside over the summit in 2026. It will be held from 15 to 17 June 2026 in Évian-les-Bains, France. India is not a permanent member of the G7. But it has been invited as a special guest. The invitation was given during Macron’s visit to India in February 2026. This is a sign of strong India-France friendship.
