Turkey has unveiled the prototype of the Yildirimhan Missile, a new intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM). The missile is part of Turkey’s effort to strengthen its defence industry and increase strategic military capability.

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has launched the JANANI digital platform to strengthen maternal and child healthcare services across India.

JANANI stands for Journey of Antenatal, Natal and Neonatal Integrated Care.

The platform will digitally monitor women and children during pregnancy, childbirth, and newborn care. The system aims to improve healthcare tracking, early risk detection, and continuity of medical services.

India recorded a rise in juvenile crime cases in 2024, according to the National Crime Records Bureau. The number of cases registered against juveniles increased from 31,365 in 2023 to 34,878 in 2024. The juvenile crime rate also increased from 7.1 to 7.9.
