Ministry of Panchayati Raj Launches SabhaSaar for Transparent Local Governance

The Ministry of Panchayati Raj has launched SabhaSaar, an Artificial Intelligence–enabled voice-to-text meeting summarisation platform, to enhance transparency, efficiency and record-keeping in grassroots governance. Introduced on August 14, 2025, the digital tool is designed to automatically capture, transcribe and summarise proceedings of Gram Sabha and Panchayat meetings, supporting evidence-based local administration.
