• News: English premier league (EPL) has signed an Indian cricketer Sanju Samson to be their official ambassador in India.
• Purpose: The aim of the move is to increase the coverage of the league and engage fans in the country.

I. Indigenous SAKSHAM Counter-Drone System of I. Indian Army.

• Activities: Indian Army has embarked on the acquisition of the locally developed counter-drone system called SAKSHAM.
• Full Name: Kinetic Soft and Hard Kill Asset Management Situation Awareness.
• Function: It is a combined command and control grid that is expected to identify, monitor, locate, and eliminate drones of the enemy in real-time.

1. The Indigenous Motor created by Ola Electric.

• Achievement: Ola Electric was the first Indian two-wheeler EV manufacturer to be certified by the government on its in-house made ferrite motor with no rare-earths.

Significance:

• Fosters Self-Sufficiency: Does away with the use of rare-earth permanent magnet that has to be imported, which is a contingent measure of Eliminating Reliance of Atmanirbhar Bharat in EV production.
• Proven Performance: The motor passed tests on rigorous AIS 041 standard produced by the Global Automotive Research Centre (GARC), Tamil Nadu.
• Technical Validation: The ferrite motor was tested, which proved to have the same performance as conventional rare-earth magnet motors, in its 7 kW and 11 kW models.

• The day will focus on the highlighting of the challenges girls are experiencing, empowerment of these girls and the protection of their human rights.

• The girl I am, the change I lead: Girls on the frontlines of crisis.
• The theme is on the identification of position and strength of girls in driving change particularly during crisis.
