  • Four great Indian Railways projects costing a total of 24,634 crore were granted by the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA).
  • NITI Aayog published the Q4 FY 2024-25 report of the Trade Watch and signed a Statement of Intent with the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IFCCI) in order to promote innovation.
  • The department of Drinking Water and Sanitation entered into an MOA with BISAG-N to utilize space technology and geo-informatics in managing water and sanitation.

  • Still, RBI has been announcing seven changes of regulation (Sep 29) to strengthen policy transmission, make it easier to lend gold, and taken the norms of exposures.
  • SIDBI registered a net profit record of 4,811 crore in FY25 and is up by 19.5 percent compared to the previous year.
  • Bank of Baroda has signed a co-lending agreement with IIFL Finance.
  • RBI constituted a Payments Regulatory Board (PRB) with 6 members, to replace the previous BPSS.
  • Axis Bank became the first bank to introduce a gold-backed UPI credit line through Freecharge to MSMEs and merchants.
  • The SBI has market share in debit cards of 24% (August 2025).
