CTET 2025 Exam Pattern
Paper I (For Classes I–V) and Paper II (For Classes VI–VIII) will include questions from the following subjects:

Paper I: Child Development & Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies.

Paper II: Child Development & Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Mathematics & Science (for Science teachers), or Social Studies/Social Science (for Social Studies teachers).
Each paper carries 150 marks, and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
CTET 2025 Selection Process
The CTET selection process consists of two papers:
Each paper includes 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Candidates can choose to appear for either one or both papers. To qualify, general category candidates must score 60% (90 out of 150 marks), while reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC) need 55% (82 marks). Qualified candidates receive a CTET eligibility certificate, which is valid for a lifetime.
