• LIC launched two new insurance plans :

  • Protection Plus (Plan 886) – pure risk cover

  • Bima Kavach (Plan 887) – flexible savings/risk protection

• NIPL (NPCI International) partnered with ACLEDA Bank (Cambodia) → enable cross-border QR payments .

• Developing nations paid $741 billion more in external debt servicing (2022–24) than they received— largest 3-year gap in 50 years .

• SEBI issued FVCI (Amendment) Regulations, 2025 → allows low-risk foreign investors to invest through single-window access .

• Exercise Harimau Shakti 2025 (India–Malaysia) began at Mahajan Field Firing Range, Rajasthan (5–18 Dec).

• Exercise Garuda 2025 (India–France, 8th edition) held at Air Base 118, Mont-de-Marsan, France .

• Garuda Shakti 2025 (India–Indonesia SF exercise) began at Bakloh, Himachal Pradesh (3–12 Dec) .

• 22nd IRIGC-M&MTC Meeting co-chaired by Rajnath Singh & Russian Defence Minister Andrei Belousov , New Delhi.

• Indian Navy held a grand Operational Demonstration at Shangumugham Beach (Thiruvananthapuram) on 3 Dec.

• BrahMos combat launch successfully conducted by Indian Army Southern Command in the Bay of Bengal .
